With an early background in architecture rcdm, Inc. was formed in 1990 as a design/build general contractor. Projects included the design and construction of retail tenant fit-outs and free standing commercial and institutional projects. It later began specializing in major retail development projects, often as a third party provider of project management, construction management and retail tenant coordination.

As a faith-based company, rcdm, Inc. began reaching out to churches that wanted to build, add on, or renovate, but found it difficult due to the limited resources available in today's economy. Using its past experience, the company has placed greater emphasis on working with churches to provide Biblical ways to achieve their goals and building needs at a difficult time for the church.
